wanted to drop the flyer for the UK B-Boy Championships the other day but didnt get a chance. so when i woke up this morning to catch the end of freesports, covering korea’s R16 world b-boy masters championships event on C4 (sunday 8:20 – on next week at 8:45), it seemed like the time to do it. tune into the online b-boy championships tv channel to keep up to date.
this years R16 played host to the poppers, lockers ‘n’funk stylers qualifiers for the winners chance to represent their country at the UK Championships.
korean POPKUN of K.O.G.S. won the qualifier to represent korea at the UK championships this month in the solo popping comp. head up to the brixton academy on the 12th october for the finals.
korea’s proving to be a real heavy hitter on the world b-boy stage, with korean GAMBLERZ CREW winning this years R16, beating russian TOP NINE CREW who took 1st in the performance comp.
