streetwear giants carhartt have teamed up with paint specialists montana colors to produce a limited edition can in carhartt brown. parisian Kool Func ’88, Carhartt contributor, Ultra Boyz member and painter n all round decorator designed the artwork for the collaboration, the result being “Cosmic Dust Brown”, which is printed directly onto the can then packaged and stamped in an individual box.
montana started putting out limited edition runs about 4 years ago, with 15 produced to date, carhartt are the latest edition to this prestigious line up. the idea started with a few hundred can run by brazilian twins Os Gemeos, responsible for a number of projects, including the Kilburn Castle initiative. check out some of the previous limited edition runs, by POCH, STAK and HONET, all limited to 500 each. you can still find some sold out runs on…eBay, of course!
