At first I never really saw the attraction of a fixed gear bike, I had enough troubles trying to get on with a BMX with brakes!! But after seeing my good friends fixie, I must admit that I was pretty impressed. Not just with the aesthetics of the bike but also the agility and speed in which my friend flew around the streets on it.
So for all you fixie skeptics out there, check this out, I think it might change your mind…

Shot in Bristol with a near army of fixed gear and single speed cyclists, the film will focus on the culture and social aspects of the fixed gear scene.
This trailer which premiered at the second ‘No Gears’ night at Bristol’s Cube Cinema on Monday 31st August 2009, represents the first footage to be shown from hours of material gathered so far.
Shot on a JVC Everio HD3 with a Century Optics Wide Angle Lens and various mounts for on bike filming as well as a JVC Everio HD5 with JAG35E DOF adapter and 50mm f1.4 Canon Lens.
